Temple in High Schools

Temple University Harrisburg partners with high schools in the Capital region to design program that facilitate the successful transition of students to undergraduate degree programs. Completion of courses in each program earns university credit. University instuctors, dedicated staff, small class size and course content combine to support students' adaptation to college level academic standards. Course offerings are tailored to the goals and needs of specific student populations or school districts.

Capital Semester

The Institute for Public Affairs at Temple University sponsors an internship program each fall and spring semester in association with Temple's Harrisburg campus. Students have the opportunity to explore government affairs and policy making and implementation firsthand while being full-time students and staying on track to graduation. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. We encourage students from schools other than Temple University to apply as well.
